Using heat to power the sugar making process
We operate across 27 plants in 10 countries and produce around five million tonnes of sugar each year.
The harvested sugar beet or sugar cane is delivered to our plants by our LOCAL CHAMPIONS, and we begin working to produce sugar for a range of food and drink products, as well as valuable co-products such as electricity, animal feed, bioethanol and much more.

It helps that sugar beet and sugar cane is made up of around 70% water as we reuse this in the extraction process.
